Article: Claudino By Ementa
Claudino By Ementa
Claudino by Ementa is rooted in the moments behind the photograph.
For years, Ruben Morais Claudino has documented Lisbon’s skate scene from the inside.
His work often looks beyond the trick itself, focusing on the architecture and the spots that shape the image.

Ruben’s relationship with skating began the same way it does for most people in the scene.

When an injury pushed him away from skating, he picked up a camera instead, staying close to the world he had always been part of. What followed became a long-term body of work documenting Portuguese skateboarding, its spaces, its energy, and the people within it.
Over the years, that work has naturally intersected with Ementa.

Ruben has documented the brand and its community for a long time, becoming part of the extended circle that surrounds it, a connection that reflects Ementa’s long-standing idea of being Moved by Friendship.

This capsule brings that relationship into focus, placing one of Ruben’s photographs into a different context.
The garments themselves remain intentionally simple.
The drop goes back to black, a timeless base that highlights his ability to capture movement and the raw energy of the scene in every stitch.
